[Q] how to backup Widgets (Desktop Visualiser)

http://forum.xda-developers.com – Hello I flash updates pretty often and If im lucky the widgets stays in place. However if I wanna flash a new rom, I am wondering how I can backup all the custom widgets I have made in Desktop Visualiser? I have googled to no avail on this. If I cant save the widget layout (this seems to be launcher repsonsibilty) thats fine, at least can i backup all the custom widgets i have made with DVR. Cheers (HowTos)

I have a very complicated widget set up, but I would like to try some evo 3d roms. I know someone is going to say don't have so many widgets, so I'll save that person the trouble. But is there any application, hack or trick that will restore full home screen after flashing a new rom? Someone must know something.

I use go launcher currently and I backup my home screen.

Hey guys.

Here we have atrix hd ics launcher and widgets. Directly installable. All wotking fine. Widgets work only on atrix launcher. Circle widgets show weather and notifications.

Only problem is launcher is made for qhd resolution so a little off. Can someone fix this please.

noob question about widgets 22 weeks 5 days ago

so being new to android, i find this weird lol. so widgets are only available for apps that you have correct? and you can place either widgets or the app icon on the home screens?

also how do i resize widgets? i've pressed and held on the widget and the only options available are to drag somewhere else.

Hi guys.I want to ask if there's any app that can let me put widgets in the notification drawer.I'd love to have there widgets like weather,calendar and so on because my screens are filled up with them and they take too much space,so having them in one single place would be better.By widgets I don't mean "toggle widgets",I mean widgets installed from the market.I'm currently running CM9.

every time i try to add a widget to my homescreen from my app drawer, i long press a widget like system tools and I get "WARNING...install Holo launcher HD as system app to use the widgets tab (root required), otherwise you can only add widgets by long press on desktop". I'm rooted, by the way. any suggestions?

I have widgets that are automatically added to the launcher, but some of these widgets need to be configured so I set an onClick listener to get the id and get the widget info to launch the Activity to configure the widget, but the problem I am having is when I return from the Activity of say a weather widget, the part where it is failing is in the create method , when I try get the appWidgetInfo
