Hi guys, I recently lost root on my stock rom slot, but I still have a rom that is customized the way I like on one of my hdx 7 devices and it still has root. The stock rom says I have version 22.214.171.124 and yet I can't get root again. Perhaps there are too many files in my system directory? Does anyone have experience with this?
Only reason I have right now to root is to uninstall these stock apps my phone came with. Is there anyway to do it without a root? Or do I need to root it?? I'm currently on MI1..if I do need a root which one is a good tut to follow. Is it better to update fully to MJ7 then root? Just trying to see what's best.
CF-Root is the root for "rooting beginners" and those who want to keep as close to stock as possible. CF-Root is meant to be used in combination with stock firmwares, and be the quickest and easiest way for your first root.
CF-Root has been available for many devices and has clocked over 9.5 million downloads. This is not even counting custom ROMs that already include it.
