Sorry if this question has been asked before. I've searched all over but not found any solution though:(.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830V. I previously bricked it and restored stock firmware and now when i turn on my device it says Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830I.
I am running SlimKat 4.4.2 on an i747. Baseband = I747UCDMG2.
I received the Network Unlock code from AT&T. Inserted a T-Mobile sim card, and when I entered the unlock code it was unsuccessful. I have seen comments that Network Unlock will only work from stock, but none of the comments seemed very authoritative.
Do I need to revert to stock in order to unlock the phone?
I got my unlock code from ATT but I can not seem to find a way to unlock it, either with the ATT sim in or a TMobile one. Previously using methods here on XDA I was able to unlock the SIM lock; the Subset lock; the SP lock and the Corporate lock. Going into Diagnosis all of those locks are disabled. However, the Network lock is still enabled.
I have been using this Phone for about a month now and yesterday I tried to update the software and it couldn't work. When I insect the SIM it started demanding for SIM Network Unlock PIN and I don't know how to unlock and I also don't know the PIN.
Please help me out.
