The 03/04 build of CM10 should give you about 3-4 ma drain during sleep (i.e, unplugged with screen off).
There's some good discussion here (including how to measure it) if you don't achieve that: Battery Drain issues on HP TouchPad - HP Touchpad - RootzWiki
Hello xda
I've been experiencing problems with my Desire S
Basically I've been having massive battery drain when on a data connection (wifi and mobile data), my battery gets fully discharged within an hour.
This sort of thing never happened before and I haven't installed any apps (that I know of) that may contribute to the huge drain.
I've installed Better Battery Stats to identify whe
So I downgraded from CM10 to gingerbread....:sly:
And what I see is this massive battery drain....:mad:
Attachment 1404258
I flashed xxkpe then ddlf2 then xda bam kernel.....
But then also the battery drain was at peek...
Plz suggest me what can be done....
Recently, I switched from Oat's Light n' Tasty to CM9 nightlies (currently on 20121202) which I flashed with CWM. I have noticed that the battery drains significantly faster with CM9 when the device is asleep. Looking at better battery stats I found that ath6kl_wow seems to be the culprit, which was reinforced with GSam which reported that 89% of the battery was consumed by wifi.
Hey all,
New to the forum. Just got a gs3 the other day and I love it so far I think there is some issues with my battery. I've read about this good the battery is supposed to be, however mine barely lasts 8-9 hours when connected to WiFi the whole day and with minimal use.
Hi
I've posted this before but didn't have good screen shot.
This is with only 1.5 odd hours of music consider im @ 11 %.
Hi,
Phone: Motorola Atrix 2
Problem: Battery drain in less than 24 hours with less than 10 minutes talktime and 15minutes of internet use on wifi.
Problem event: My wife's Motorola Atrix 2 was fine and used to last 2-3 days. But then I configured email by following steps given below.
If I flash CM10 as opposed to my stock android 4.1 jellybean, leaving all my brightness, wifi etc settings the same, will my battery life be extended? ie: is the drain while the phone is on lower?
I heard switching to CM10 over stock will basically for all users reduce drain thus increase battery life
Hi,
I've had the Galaxy player for a few months now, and I'm generally very happy with it. Although I get pretty decent battery life out of it, I'd say normally about five to ten days of idle time with roughly six hours of screen on time and about as much wi-fi on time, with maybe an additional three hours as a music player, one issue relating to battery drain appears to be constant.
