Ok so I flashed the cm10 rom today and used CMD to add the boot.img for cm10 but now I want to go back to Viperrom. I flashed the original boot.img using cmd again but I got stuck in a boot loop (kind of) what I mean by that is that if I flash cm10 from the recovery It works fine but I can't flash any other rom without triggering the bootloop so how do I fix this?
I've just installed Lloir's CM10 mod, however it seems the custom boot.img is removed every time the phone reboots which in turn prevents CM10 from booting (gets stuck on boot screen).
When I flash the boot.img, the HTC boot screen has the standard red warning text, however if I reboot the phone again, the red error text goes away and CM 10 is no longer able to boot until I flash the boot.img..

when i was flashing roms before i had to manually flash boot.img in fastboot since i didnt have twrp
but i noticed the kernel is the same date as the rom i just flashed today (cm10)
do the new CWMs flash the boot.img ?
Hey everyone!! Flashing this will give you the new CM10 boot animation! I'm sure noobnl will put it It very soon. This has been tested on Cm10 Nightly build 08242012. But until then here it is!! I really didn't do much I just packed it into a flashable zip!! So all credit is to CM and the people who made the boot animation.
So I've flashed a few ROMs on my phone, and decided I liked CM10 the best. I was previously using Slimbean 4.1.1 and was in the process of re-flashing CM10. I accidentally flashed (I THINK) the RemICS 4.0.1 ROM and got a bunch of error messages. Panicked, cleared all data, dalvik cache, the whole 9 yards and flashed the CM10 zip.

So, been a couple weeks been trying to flash CM10 ROMs, Paranoid, AOKP and CYANO, Everytime i flash I wipe everything as instructed and when it reboots it just hangs on the cyanogem boot image with the wheel spinning and does nothing. Not even a boot loop?! I let it sit for up to a half hour before and still nothing.
