Back in the old Gnex pre-launch mega thread, one of the topics that was debated (especially while we anxiously awaited release) was whether or not one should opt for the RAZR, Rezound, Galaxy S2 on another carrier, etc. because Google/Samsung/Verizon were taking too long to release the Gnex.
I just bought a sprint gnex for my gf. She had terrible problems with her last two phones, evo 3d and photon 4g. We thought the gnex with jelly beam was going to be perfect but there is one extremely annoying bug. When she receives an message, the notification sound goes off and doles not stop, even if you go into the menu and disable it. Is there a fix for this? The gnex is on stock jelly bean.
As the title states, I'm looking to upgrade from a Gnex finally. I'm going to be buying the phone off-contract. I will be keeping the phone for 1-2 years most likely. I'm fine with any screen size, timely updates aren't an issue, a good camera is a plus (but Ive survived with the terrible Gnex camera for 2 years) battery life better than the Gnex should also be standard fare among contenders now.
I upgraded from an Verizon GNex to a Droid razr maxx hd, I'm still using the 4G sim that came with my GNex, I want to try ISIS wallet but here in lies the problem. The GNex sim I'm using is not an NFC sim. I popped the NFC sim into my razr maxx hd, but the new sim doesn't activate.
So how do I switch from a regular 4G lte sim to a 4G lte NFC sim?
