So I've setup chargers at multiple places in my home, in both cars and at work. I noticed differences in charge levels and charging times between these and was trying to rectify those with problems. Did a bit of reading and this is what I understood.
High power chargers(2.0 A or even 1.0 A) will charge the device faster.
Micro USB cables can be data/charge cables or charge only cables.
I have indeed read previous threads but all of them have the same answers in them, I have a verizon gnex and after I purchased my phone out of no where it would have this charging error, so let me explain what really happens.. I charge my gnex to 100% and the screen will flash on saying "charging" then in a split second it won't say charging..
I have had the Galaxy Nexus for a better part of a year, and recently, charging became an issue. Sometimes when I plugged in my phone, it does not charge and I have to wiggle the end of the cord a bit until I see it start to charge.
Hi guys, over the last couple of months ive had three batteries die on me. An officia samsung and two extended gold batteries. When the phone ran out of charge the battery for some reason would refuse to charge. The charge icon seemed to flash up now and then but for some reason the batteries just will not charge.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Samsung galaxy s2 charging problem. Despite trying 2 new batteries, a new car charger, a new mains charger, replacing the charging slot on the phone, i am still having charging problems, particularly charging in the car (important as i am a london black cab driver and i use a gps app to otain work; been using this app about a year).

currently having a problem with my xbox 360 charging my Nexus 4...
basically i put my nexus on charge (usb cable from xbox 360) over night and it clearly said its charging, so i woke up the next morning and the battery % was as i left it, but it still clearly says charging? this has happen to me twice this week... has anyone else had a problem like this? :confused:

For the last few months I've had issues with charging my s2. I have had to hold the charger in a specific spot for it to charge in the past and recently I've been getting the 'voltage too high charging paused' pop up a lot more often.

I bought my GSM galaxy nexus about 2 months back. I unlocked bootloader, rooted and installed stock JB, with franco.kernel. It worked fine for maybe a month. Then, charging the battery started maxing out at lower than 100%. Now, it does not ever charge beyond 82-83%. (in battery settings, it shows "82% - Not Charging" even with the stock chrger plugged in.

I have bought an s2 I9100t in Australia and ever since I've had it whenever I try and charge the battery it says 'charging paused battery either too hot or too cold.' after just a few seconds.
Even when im not charging the phone it heats up alot on the side with the power button, and obviously gets worse when plugged in.
