[Q] GPS not workin after ICS flashing

http://forum.xda-developers.com – Hi, I have flashed a stock rom ICS 4.0.4 - UAE version thru MoileOdin.. Everything went fine exept that the GPS isnt working.. Tries searching thru the forums but didn't find a satisfactoy answer or fix. I was using Honeycomb 3.2 (HowTos)

Didn't want this to be my first post, but whats up.. Just coming from a Verizon Droid X , I love this phone EXCEPT the fact that the GPS just doesn't work.. I didn't even notice until after I flashed CM10 the first day. It find's 20+ satellites with the GPS status app, it just NEVER locks on to any of them and in Maps my phone thinks I am in N.C. when i'm in NYC..

I am having a dilemma, and google is not forthcoming with relevent results, nor was searching the threads here. So here is my issue, I have updated my sgh-i957r lte to the stock 4.0.4 ics, and cannot find a plausable way to root.

All of the guides on flashing I have found are either for honeycomb, or a leaked version that is not compatable.

I have just flashed to the stock ROM as per the instructions in the WIKI but when i boot it asks to enter a password and won't do anything else.

Problem with recovery 4 weeks 4 days ago

This weird problem started when I was trying to install PureX Audio Mod. I have stock .434 rooted and locked bootloader. I have installed the CWM for locked bootloaders and it was working flwalessly. I also disabled flashing stock recovery on reboot and was working with the device.

when i turn my phone on i get a bootloop and no access to cwm or regular recovery mode etc. i can still get into recovery mode and i've flashed the stock rom and im still stuck any suggestions? really need help

I got bored over the weekend and root and romed my S3. I didn't like the roms I got so I wanted to go back to stock. Problem is I forgot to do a backup of the stock firmware before flashing. Is there a way to get back to true stock? I have flashed stock firmware back on the phone, but when I try to get the VZW update, it fails.

I searched a lot in all threads to find a similar question or just an answer to my problem.

To start I have to tell you that I already had the v029 installed with the stock kernel and everything was fine. Then I wanted to check some other roms and if they fit me better. So i got it from the begining. Wiped everything and installed the stock eclair with PCC.
