My thunderbolt got stuck in boot loop about a week later after flashing Liquid ICS MR3V1. If I attempt to reboot the phone numerous times it will eventually boot up and work fine. The phone will not allow me to get into recovery - it will just go into boot loop once recovery is selected.
I need advice for a friend, his phone is stuck in an infinite loop, this is his message:

Stuck 30 weeks 2 days ago I just rooted my phone via the Tacoroot and Revolutionary method. Followed the guide and no problems. Then I installed IC Tazz Sense 3.6 ICS rom. Everything boots and works real nice and smooth. The problem is if I turn the phone off, reboot or enter into recovery, the phone goes into a boot loop when I start it again. Only on a clean install does it boot properly.
Hello
I've tried to upgrade my Defy (525, green lens) to CM10(jelly bean), but im stuck in a boot loop!
My phone had originally Android 2.1 installed, one year ago i successfully rooted it and Android 2.2 successfully.
What i've tried:
- load into 2nd init, wipe cache/wipe data
- install kernel-froyo-222-179-4-signed
- install CM10-20120924-NIGHTLY-mb525
- wipe dalvik cache(this does
I have a huawei u8160 recently I've tried to install cm10 but it was boot loop here's what I did :
1-data wipe + cache wipe + dalvik cache wipe + format /system
2-install zip from SD card.
3-in bootloader connect phone to the pc and using command prompt I flash boot.img that was taken from the zip
4-restart phone
I've waited for about 20 minutes but it didn't boot
Hi, I have an old Evo 3D purchased from eBay (shipped from Singapore).
The phone is now out of the warranty, so i decided to install a custom ROM.
What happened was that the phone was running on stock ICS.
Then I unlocked it through htcdev. S-on, HBOOT 1.53.0007
Installed 4ext recovery, works fine.
So, before flashing custom ROMs, I made a stock rooted restore, recently I tried restoring to it, and it went successful, until it wants to boot.. I'm just stuck at a black screen. Only able to access recovery. Forced to flash back a custom rom =/ couldn't even get to the sprint boot animation. Anyone know how to fix the boot issue?
