I'm new here and hope I'm doing this right.
I have a Zenithink C93 tablet that has Jelly Bean 4.1 on it. I had one of the same model with ice cream sandwich that I loved. This Jelly Bean is a headache . At least I'm assuming it's the Jelly Bean that's causing the problem.
I have xperia ray which has very limited memory for apps. I have cyanogenmod 10 flashed and gapps. As the gapps package is very old and has outdated google play store and services the two apps update and take alot of space. I want them to install in the system memory not in the user memory.
Do you have an Android device running Ice Cream Sandwich and feeling left out of some of the Jelly Bean love because you’re not into rooting and ROMs? Well I have something for you. Google added a new widget called Sound Search to Jelly Bean, and it will tell you the name of the song you’re listening too much like Shazam and Soundhound, but with one minor difference.
Well friends, it’s about that time see the latest Android distribution trends. As previously predicted, we’re not only a gradual increase of Ice Cream Sandwich-based devices, but we’re beginning to see a sudden spike of Jelly Bean-based devices as well.
So i finally found a way to install CWM in my lava iris 430 which runs on 4.0.4 and installed gapps gapps-ics-20120429-signed version it was successfully installed but it missed Google play services.
What to do?
I've flashed CyanogenMod, nightly, and it is working perfectly. When I flash Gapps, then battery is drained fast, and the device is getting overheated. So, are there any solutions other than flashing Gapps, to have Google accounts on CyanogenMod?
P.S. I extracted the Gapps.zip, there was a folder named "apps" there, none of which could be installed.
