Hi guys. I am a big technology dunce, so I am sure that this is a stupid question. I recently switched to Straight Talk and bought the Tmobile SIM for my Mytouch 4G slide, but the phone is unlocked because I needed to use it overseas. I now want to buy a Note II on ebay.
Alright... multiple days on the phone with Straight Talk, multiple factory re-set, multiple re-purchase of the same apps due to losing them with factory re-sets... absolute frustration.
My wife has the identical phone, same make, model, color and apps as mine. My phone works fine, hers...
I live in the long island new york area. I bought a straight talk sim and 45 min card. I bought an att carrier locked galaxy note. The sim from straight talk is an att sim. I was coming from virgin Mobile and had to port my existing number.. The process took about 30 min and now I am up and running on att "4g" network...
My AT&T Samsung Note 2 (SGH-i317) has been downgraded and unlocked and is finally working on my new carrier (Movistar) thanks to your forum article (http://androidforums.com/t-galaxy-note-2-all-things-root/711598-need-hel...).
However it still wants to automatically "upgrade" using the AT&T software.
I have a question.
I have the Galaxy S2 SGH-S959G that is Straight Talk / Tracfone Branded that was released by Straight talk, but honestly i hate it because it is still using gingerbread and have no plans on updating it for that phone and I want to get a Unlocked S4 and port it over to straight talk.
Now my question is, can i use the sim card from the S2 in the S4?
I have the international unlocked Galaxy Note, model N7000, and planning on using it on Straight Talk once I get back in the States... but I'm hearing conflicting information on whether this Galaxy Note model is capable of HSPA+ off the AT&T Straight Talk SIM.
Hey fellaz
I'm interested in getting a better phone. I'm. Currently useing straight talk wireless. Can I use any unlocked or wat ever u call it female phone? If so or not cansome one plz explain to me wat type of phone I need to look for etc... thx
Ok. I have read thread after thread on this subject. And I am just getting more confused. I have a Samsung Galaxy SIII through AT&T. When I called straight talk they said this phone was compatible with the program. So I bought the ATT compatible straight talk sim through walmart. It was a normal sim card. So I couldn't use it. I need a micro sim.
Ok, so to start Iv'e been wanting to use the BYOD program straight talk is offering, unfortunately i need the AT&T sim to get coverage in my area. However, I've been using straight talk with an LG840G phone that i bought from straight talk a while ago. The sim inside this phone is an AT&t one and i was wondering if I could use it in my new compatible phone.
