http://forum.xda-developers.com – I am stuck trying to unlock my boot loader because I cannot get the drivers for fastboot to install. As soon as I try to update android 1.0 in device manager I get a windows error stating 'windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device' and i get the error code: This device cannot start. (code 10). At the same time as the driver install fails a error comes up on the bottom of my galaxy nexus while in fastboot mode stating: Fastboot command error -2147483647. Below is a list of things i have tried. - Ensured USB debugging is enabled - Tried different USB ports/ (HowTos)

I am sure I have properly installed usb driver for my nexus 7, since I have unlocked and rooted my device.

When I reboot my device to bootloader, my PC detected a new device connect, but fail to recognize it.

Also, I can't do anything when I am in fastboot mode, e.g.

Okay so I've been trying to unlock my bootloader on my new Nexus 4 and haven't had much luck. I've carefully followed the directions on this forum and always get stuck when trying to unlock the bootloader.

When I try to use fastboot with my 16G NT, all it says is < waiting for device>. I'm using CM10.1 official, I am in CyanoBoot under fastboot mode, I am running as admin, I have USB Mass Storage enabled, I have USB debugging enabled, and yet I still get an error.

hello i have sony xperia s and im trying to flash new karnel. when im trying to fastboot i get "wating for the device" and its stuck on that.

Well im installing a new rom, flashing then using fastboot. After so im getting waiting for device even tho my phone is on fastboot usb. When install htc sync I get an error: installation of htc driver installer 4.0.0.009 appeared to have failed Any ideas?

llo,

My problem is the following:

- If I connect my phone when it's on, it works just fine. - If I connect it in fastboot mode (blue led) it isn't recognized. So i installed the drivers manually (after disabling the need for driver signature) and it said drivers were installed. But it still doesn't work propperly.

i have windows xp sp3 i do all steps to unlock bootloader of my phone arc ice cream 4.0.4 finally it can't unlocked and this message apear in cmd window:

I am unable to flash the boot.img on my Mac no matter what I do.

Brief description of the problem: Somehow got a USB-brick (phone as a USB-device not recognized in the BB, go into HBOOT USB mode or FASTBOOT USB does not work)

Device / model: HTC Desire HD

Operating System and Firmware: Android ICS Sabsa Prime 7 (custom roooted, unlocked through htcdev.com)
