[Q] Galaxy Nexus charging indicator error

http://forum.xda-developers.com – I have indeed read previous threads but all of them have the same answers in them, I have a verizon gnex and after I purchased my phone out of no where it would have this charging error, so let me explain what really happens.. I charge my gnex to 100% and the screen will flash on saying "charging" then in a split second it won't say charging.. then the screen will turn off after it times out, it will do this constantly until my phone reaches 90% then stops.. and only does it again if I charge it all the way to 100% again, now I have 2 separate batteries for this phone, and I have abo (HowTos)

I have had the Galaxy Nexus for a better part of a year, and recently, charging became an issue. Sometimes when I plugged in my phone, it does not charge and I have to wiggle the end of the cord a bit until I see it start to charge.

For the last few months I've had issues with charging my s2. I have had to hold the charger in a specific spot for it to charge in the past and recently I've been getting the 'voltage too high charging paused' pop up a lot more often.

I am have Dinc2 from Verizon. In the last week, it has stopped charging normally. Even when it is plugged into AC power it thinks it is plugged into USB power (this can be confirmed from the about phone menu). Also, the charge port is very, very fiddily (which I understand is an issue with this phone). The phone is well over 1 year old. So, I have two questions:

I am BEYOND disappointed with my Samsung Galaxy S2. My husband and I both purchased Galaxy S2's a couple of months ago and almost immediately after getting them I had trouble charging mine. The phone battery drains quickly, sometimes gets really hot, and then, started to not take a charge at all.

Hi, I'm new to this site. But, I looked everywhere and I couldn't find an answer to my issue. Here is is my issue:

I have the Galaxy SIII... and when I turn off my phone fully I know it charges super quickly. Obviously, because it is not being in use. Anyways, today I was trying to charge my phone whilst it being turned off and it wouldn't charge.

I have a verizon galaxy nexus and it just started acting up. Periodically, when not physically connected to a charger, the phone will wake up and say that it's charging. This sucks because it drains the battery. Could this have started due to the phone being exposed to high humidity?

Hi, I bought my GSM galaxy nexus about 2 months back. I unlocked bootloader, rooted and installed stock JB, with franco.kernel. It worked fine for maybe a month. Then, charging the battery started maxing out at lower than 100%. Now, it does not ever charge beyond 82-83%. (in battery settings, it shows "82% - Not Charging" even with the stock chrger plugged in.

Samsung galaxy s2 charging problem. Despite trying 2 new batteries, a new car charger, a new mains charger, replacing the charging slot on the phone, i am still having charging problems, particularly charging in the car (important as i am a london black cab driver and i use a gps app to otain work; been using this app about a year).

I am thoroughly confused at this point. I am currently running Shiney ROM, but I have experienced the same issue on PA, XenonXD, AOKP, CM10 and a couple others. Every time I have uploaded a new ROM it has been a complete wipe with factory reset. Completely clean, no dirty flashing whatsoever.

The issue is the batteries not fully charging.
