I'm looking for a good, and preferably but not necessarily free, tutorial for learning the Django framework. I had come across The Django Book already, but its so outdated that the site recommends not using it until it gets updated.
So, does anyone have any good recommendations for a Django tutorial?
hey guys am learning the django frame work as am interested in using the python modules for developing websites. can somebody suggest me a good IDE for working with django?can i be using eclipse with it? and also since am new to python and django i would also be glad if am given suggestions :)
I am new to configuring servers and i'm having issues getting php to work with my django app using UWSGI on nginx. Django works great using uwsgi and php works great when I remove the django site conf, but when i use django and php together php files don't work (browser just downloads them), any ideas (please be specific i'm new to this stuff)? I open to suggestions, getting kinda desperate here.
The django-admin.py script should be on your system path if you installed Django via its setup.py utility. If it’s not on your path, you can find it in site-packages/django/bin within your Python installation. Consider symlinking it from some place on your path, such as /usr/local/bin.'
How do I 'symlink' and how do I know when I need to do it?
