[Q] Disable Camera sound & want timer in JellyBam

http://forum.xda-developers.com – Please bare with me as I am still fairly new to this rooting and rom stuff. Earlier today I had installed JellyBam 4.1.0 i777 stable & coming from stock 4.03 ICS UCLE3 So far I seem to like this rom but the one thing I am really into is my camera and it's settings. The camera on ICS was great for me! Other than turning my volume down how do I disable the shutter sound to the camera? another Is there a timer that goes with camera? If not, does anyone know where I can get an app or apk that can fix this problem? Thanks! (HowTos)

First of all, you should probably know: - It is rooted - I renamed the camera click .ogg sound files using ROM toolbox pro, but the camera app still makes the shutter sound

Is there any way to disable the camera shutter sound? I've been scouring the internet for solutions and thought rooting my phone would do the trick, but now I can't seem to be able to even accomplish this task with root.

Hey, The Camera is kick me back every time So i searched a Bit in Google and found this https://rapidshare.com/files/3100105498/Camera.apk Its working better than the stock cm9 Camera Just remove cm9 Camera or back up And replace it with Miui Camera Set permissions to XX X X Reboot :D Everything works Except the shutter Sound when you take a Photo Sent from my One V using xda premium

I have been trying to disable the camera shutter since it is so annoying when taking pictures. I downloaded a file explorer and went to /system/media/audio/ui and found .ogg sound files, I renamed the camera_click.ogg to camera_click.ogg.bak and restarted the phone. The shutter sound still persists, is the sound file located somewhere else?

Might be a silly questions - but I can't find the option to shut the camera up, for it not to make that annoying shutter sound. Do you have any idea how to disable it?

Is there any possibility that someone can do me a favor & get a copy of the click.ogg (camera shutter sound) I deleted mine thinking it would stop the obnoxious noise but it just messed up my camera, so can anyone upload that file? Thanks :)

before i use the camera it doest have sound then i found out the next day when i use it, it has sound then im trying to look at the setting, and ask somebody they didn't found out too,please help.

Currently running CM10 nightlies on my i747.

I am a big fan of the camera functionality of the stock touchwiz rom, I'm definitely up to experimenting to try to figure out how to carry over the stock camera app to a different AOSP based rom.

The stock camera app has great functionality and GUI.

hi guys..I'm new here..have this problem with my tablet..it always shows camera failed everytime I open it..i've tried almost anything to revive it..

here's what happened..

1. I've upgraded to custom ROM using cm nigtly release..(forgot what version)..then camera failed..

2. Restock it with the orig ROM 2.3.3 gingerbread using ODIN..still camera failed
