Hello everyone,
Its about 6 month I'm with Linux and since 2 months with Suse. Since the day I migrated to Linux I frequently encountered a question "are games available for Linux?" When I first installed Ubuntu 6 months back I found out basic games like freecell, spider, mine sweeper and others. Its the same games that ship with Windows too.
what games can I play on linux? I've heard you can't play the same games on linux that you can on windows, is this correct?
if not, which ones can't I play? Can I play all my zsnes rom games on linux? What about demos like call of duty world at war, and left 4 dead and battlefield bad company? Thanks
The kind and fantabulously generous Sir Awesome of Touch Arcade has compiled a huge list of games that have had their prices slashed this holiday season. If you're after more of a 'curated' list, with actual links to iTunes, they have a blog post up with their list of must-have discounted games.
Most games on the list seem to have undergone massive, more-than-50% discounts.
I know I jus recently got a MOGA Controller to use with both my Nexus 7 and my Droid RAZR Maxx and every time I user it I can't help thinking to myself if the controller is worth it or not. It can be very sluggish sometimes with response time in games like Dead Trigger and Modern Combat 4.
Koonsolo Games has announced that their new lineup of games will put you in control of bulldozers, dump trucks, excavators and other heavy equipment: Big Machine Games.

Most of the gamers just stick on to Windows Vista because they think of games ie. the real GAMES only go with windows!. Well that is a misconception! Well many people does not even think of the possobility of games in linux!. Well I did!!
I love these games but was having issues with them. Before this fix even on low settings the games were having framerate issues and had ghosting all over.. I found a fix for them thanks to another user I read. This fixes the issues and should help with other games.
Go to settings>developer options>turn on> check disable hardware overlays.
Both games now run like a dream.
I got a nexus 7 at Xmas, mainly to play games. Now I'm finding that although I have got games on Google Play, they don't seem to be suitable for the tablet. It has crashed repeatedly on both Sims Free play and Townsmen. A pop up appears telling me that it is closing, and opening in safe mode so that I can delete the third party app that I have downloaded.
Hey guys i wanted to know if there are some good/decent/great games that you guys have installed on your g.NEXUS?
the thing is they have to be portrait style games that require no internet connection to play.
i'm not a big fan of playing games on landscape mode, and i hate games that i wish i could play but not have any internet access to at that moment.
free or paid, it doesn't matter-let
