[Q] Changing audio buffer size

Decibel Audio Player is a recent entry into the already crowded realm of music players for Linux. A quick glance at GnomeFiles.org shows there are already close to 90 music players listed. Does the world really need another? Probably not, but that doesn't mean that Decibel Audio Player isn't worth at least a look. But first a couple sentences to define exactly what I'm looking at today.

I'm trying to listen to the audio output of a specific process (A) and another process (B) while redirecting A's audio output to B's audio input.

I have my laptop running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS connected via builtin wifi. I bought a USB bluetooth adaptor and reroute the audio to a bluetooth receiver for my computer speakers. But when I play streaming music from Youtube or Pandora, the bluetooth degrades the wifi bandwidth so much that streaming is impossible due to constant pausing to buffer the audio.

Music is a big part of a smartphone’s feature set. We’ve already talked about the best available music streaming services, but sometimes music streaming isn’t an option, whether that’s because you’re dealing with a pesky data cap, you’re somewhere without a reliably fast internet connection, or you would just rather keep your music on your device.

I'm using a Jabra cruiser2 bluetooth speakerphone with my gnex. I've been trying to stream audiobooks from my phone to the speaker. After 10-15 minutes, the player stops. This is a consistant problem. I use the Mort audiobook player. I've also tried streaming music to the speaker. For music I usually use PowerAmp, and again, it stops playing after 10-15 minutes.

So Ive been using poweramp for quite awhile and have had no problems with it. Until now. I have all my music files stored on my external SD card in a folder labeled Music. Everything is neatly organized on it. Poweramp has had no problem with this and has always loaded all my music. But suddenly It wont load all the music I have! it will only show that i have about 50 artists and 60 songs.

Recently I've noticed that while playing music with my SGS3, it has been draining battery rather quickly. So I checked what was going on with BBS and CPU Spy and found out that while playing music with PowerAmp the phone can't go into deep sleep. I remembered while running on stock and a few other ROMs that this issue hasn't happened.

I was successful in playing streaming audio. The main problem is that if I move to the seek bar to a previous position the loading starts again. Is it not possible to store data in something like buffer and play audio from there so when we move the seek bar to a previous position the music player uses that buffered data instead of loading once again.

I am working on music player which plays audio stream from URL. My problem is when I move seek bar position back the again it starts buffering but in reality it should be able to play old buffer data when I move seek bar to previous position.

Suppose I have reached 50% of song length and if I move back say to 30% it again starts streaming. I do not know how to handle it. Again I am explaining: I
