[Q] Change Google Play from US to UK on EVO View

http://forum.xda-developers.com – Hi All, I am sure this is a basic question for a place like this but; I have just been given an EVO View by an uncle living in the US. I am now back home in the UK. When i go onto google play it is clearly the US version which is obviously different in terms of the apps, combatibility and currency amongst others. My google account is UK registered as i have been using it for a long time on my Xperia Neo, so how do it get the UK version on my EVO View. I just have the normal HC and really don't want to risk doing anything that may break my device as i am a complete novice. Appreciate a (HowTos)

When i was recently in the US i was given an HTC EVO VIEW. I have now taken it back with me to the UK but unsurprisingly my Google Play application is the US version.

My google play store has been displaying app and currency info from japan ever since i visited there a month ago...now back in the UK it still displays the currency in YEN and not GBP....ive tried changing language, clearing cache, removing google play and then reinstating it..no luck...

Have even flashed it with ics v4.0.4 but im not sure how i can change the settings back to UK..

I'm looking for "Street View on Google Maps" ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...android.street ) and Discovery ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...edia.discovery ) apks. As soon as I log into the store, they disappear. I presume it's one of those ancient "not in your country" thingies.

Google Earth for Android received an update to version 7.1.1 today which brings three important new features. The biggest of these is the addition of Street View to Google Earth. The Google Maps app already had Street View, but now Google Earth users can join in on the fun.
