Hi,
I have been trying to install Cyanogenmod correctly for a long time. Every time I try a new recovery I get different results.
So back on my Evo 4G whenever I wanted to flash a new rom, I would load it on my SD card. Then boot into custom recovery and wipe cache/Dalvik... Then would wipe ALL data/factory reset. Then I would install my new rom off of my SD card.
With my S3, I cannot access anything on my SD via CWM recovery.
This is an At&t version(SAMSUNG-SGH-I337)
I've rooted my s4 earlier before this happen but it's just weird..
I turn off my phone to reboot it and it always went into recovery mode.
So I said **** it and wiped the data and cache, thankfully it booted up(data wiped though...)
I decide to test to see if this was a "factory" reset, so I turned it off, turned it back and bull****.
It

i tried to wipe data once again via recovery(both tried, in HC and ICS), but it hang during the process(even using CWM oso stuck during process)
question is, what i need to do??
do not boot into the stock recovery...it'll wipe your phone back to factory...you'll still have root...but it'll wipe everything else off :(
but yay! i booted into the stock recovery?....
i used rom toolbox and did the "reboot into recovery" option...just to see what would happen...and this blows...
My SGS2 was working all morning until I pulled it out of my pants after class today.
It was on rooted stock ics, and I have no idea how it could have bricked in the first place.
First symptom was a bootloop.
Hey everyone... I've searched and searched and haven't found anything that resembles the problem I'm having... hoping someone can help! I've been recently flashing the RAGE Rom and have been enjoying it... I recently updated from Ver 1.5 to 1.7 but I had a lot of random reboots. Sometimes it would reboot while the phone was sleeping.
Hi there,
I am using Sandvold ICS 0.15 rom for a while. Yesterday i switched the phone off to charge the phone.
Once fully charged, i switched the phone on and it got stuck on the blue X for a long time. I had to try the battery pull and it still had the same issue.
I then performed wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache.
