[Q] Cant mount "mount /sdcard in CWM

http://forum.xda-developers.com – hi guys, i was coming back from CM10 to stock 4.1.1 on my nexus and when in CWM, i deleted all the content on sdcard by accident. now there is no zip file on the sd card to install the rom, I tried mounting sdcard and copy but it doesnt mount.when i press mount /sdcard, nothing happens>(doesnt show the partition on computer and doesnt go ot :unmount /sdcard.) Im stuck in here and dont know what to do. please help! (HowTos)

Hi Guys,

I was able to unlock/root/install recovery on my One V (PrimoU) no problems, but now that I have CWM installed, I can't do a nandroid backup or install roms from the sdcard as it can't mount the partition.

After a bit of faffing about, I found that formatting the SDCARD in recovery means that I can backup the rom & mount the sdcard partition.

Sadly this means that when android boot

Following the guide everything went good until i came to the point of installing the rom from the sdcard.

When I try to choose zip from sdcard, CWM says "E:can't mount /sdcard/"

Someone told me to format the card with SD Formatter, I've done it but it didn't solve anything. :crying:

I'm completely stuck now, anyone can help me, please? :confused:

I am trying to mount sdcard/0, which is my internal sd card. I am using a CM10 rom and realized that /sdcard is now /storage/sdcard0 in jelly bean. I am the only one on the CM10 fourm who can't mount his/hers. When I go to settings-storage-usb storage, I click "mount sd card" and the phone freezes, then it says calculating and it disappears.

Running CM7.2 on NC. Had several backups made thru CWM 3.0.2.1 (I think) and made mistake of flashing CWM update thru ROM manager. CWM 6.0.3.1 can't mount sdcard now. In CM I can mount and unmount sdcard and access contents, nothing in CWM. I'm a noob and have no idea where to start.

i have a problem with mounting my camcoder with sdcard as volume. It seems it is sdcard problem, can it be repaired? I have reformated sdcard in windows system but this did'nt solve problem all remained the same.

Since coming off a cm7 rom, doing all the wipes, fastboot ones too and going back to stock bell 2.3.6 I have a sdcard and sdcard-ext in root internal and a sdcard and sdcard-ext in /mnt. Whatever i install gets placed in both locations is there a way to fix this? If i delete files from the sdcard in root it delelets the same file in /mnt/sdcard.... :confused:

I tried to installl a Rom in my Galaxy SGH-i897 with Odim and everything was alright until I had to got into the Rom and install Zip from SDcard

when I tried to do this my cell throws me this msg error..

E: can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 (or dev/block/mmcbl0) (Invalid Argument)

E: can't mount/mnt/sdcard

I tried to apply the update.zip but I got the same error...
