Hi, first of all let me say that I'm new to this. I installed CM initially through the installer.
A few hours ago I checked for updates and tapped on the new CM11 nightly build. (I've done this a few times before, only with 10.2.)
Except this time, it won't boot.
I have an S5 which I use Tasker to recognize the phone being flipped face down to turn off the ringer, etc. I know there are other apps to do this, but since I use Tasker for other stuff I was hoping to continue. But, when the phone goes to sleep, it appears that Tasker can not recognize the phone being flipped.
Hey so when I update my phone from a nightly from August to a nightly in September I keep on getting random force reboots. I managed to flash to the experimental M1 nightly and i'm stable there, but anything past that and I get force reboots (my phone randomly shuts off).
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
since i dont have enough privileges to post in the development page i had to post here. Ive flashed the latest cm10 nightly (7th Oct) along with ncx's v8 aokp kernal. Now with the latest nightly my phone doesnt go into deep sleep without ncxs kernal. After flashing the kernal (normal img and repacked img) the phone still doesnt go into deep sleep mode.
If one is to flash a ROM over their old rom (lets say a new nightly over an older nightly), does that have any effect on the bluetooth pairings that were made? Would my phone still recognize those pairings or ask me again to configure/set them up after the new ROM is flashed overtop? Same goes for other devices such as a bluetooth speaker.
So I flashed the 3-27 nightly of Team EOS's Wingray 4.2, but I wanted to get into the swing of flashing the latest Nightly builds ASAP. However, I came across this in that thread:
Use latest TWRP or cwm or you'll be in trouble.
Anybody else having issues with Gmail working on the 8/19/12 Nightly build? The Play Store won't even show Gmail to download. After flashing latest nightly I then flashed gapps from 4/29 which is the latest I believe.
