For those of us in the United States...
Always loved the idea of having scans of all my credit cards on my phone in some sort of "wallet" that I could swipe at the retail counter for payment.
Google Wallet was supposed to be just that.
However, most all the major phone carriers have blocked Google Wallet.
Hi All,
I'm using kMyMoney for money manegement. It uses KDE Wallet to store passwords for my bank accounts. I installed the KDE Wallet Manager from Synaptic. When I click on the KDE Wallet shortcut, it blinks and then nothing happens/opens. I'm unable to modify my wallet information.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this or if something else is required?
ok, so im trying to buy hidden eye plus. each time i try to buy it, it says something along the lines of wallet can be billed to sprint account. i dont really want to do that. so i go to wallet to see if i can turn that crap off and it says its not supported on the phone. fine.
Hello everyone. I love my GS3 and I'm fine with ICS for now. Really the only reason I want to root is to get Google Wallet. Bloatware doesn't really bother me if I i hide it in the app drawer. I have a few short questions, if I root but don't flash a rom can I still install Google wallet using the edit Build.prop hack?
The idea of using your phone as your wallet is a great one, but Google Wallet is proving to be a bit of a security nightmare. It looks as though Google has thrown up their hands on rooted devices, at least for now, and put a warning in the Google Wallet app of unsupported devices.

Does "Android Beam" have to be enabled for Wallet to work?
I've tried using Wallet at my local gas station and it doesn't work. Although i dont sit there swiping back and forth looking like a moron but a quick swipe turns up nothing. NFC is enabled and Wallet is set up.
So I'm having trouble getting Wallet setup on my Galaxy Nexus...works fine on my Nexus 7.
I can setup the app, but when it says 'setup required' under the card, it always fails to add card. See attached photo.
I've tried resetting the wallet app. I've restored to stock, flashed factory images. I'm unrooted. Can seem to get this fixed.
