hey guys,
I am noob to rooting. rooted my nexus s GT-I9020 recently and installed clockworkmod recovery 5(worked finely when installed). tried installing slim bean, installed rom manager also. flashing recovery was un successful and when tried accessing recovery and found the droid symbol with a red triangle in its stomach!!!! I am not sure where i messed it! Kindly help me please.
I have flashed Clockworkmod through both the vipermod tool, and then decided to try doing it through ROM manager. When I try to reboot into recovery I just get the dead Android and an exclamation point. It will not boot into recovery, what is my next step?
What Is ClockworkMod Recovery And How To Use It On Android
ClockworkMod also known as Clockwork or CWM is a custom recovery for Android phones and tablets that allows you to perform several advanced recovery, restoration, installation and maintenance operations on your Android device that arent possible with the stock recovery.
The recent update to ROM Manager has now caused my rooted stock SIII to not be able to boot into Recovery (from ROM Manager). It just hangs. What is the procedure to manually boot to recovery on a rooted stock SIII?
OK, for now I managed to restore an older version of ROM Manager with TIBU, and am rebooting into Recovery now.
Hey xda'ers i need help on the clockworkmod recovery on samsung gt 2 7.0... i used odin and it says pass, then i rebooted and tried to go to clockworkmod recovery but it just keeps going to the default android recovery... instead of using "install zip from sd card" from cm recovery, can i just use "apply update from external sd card" from the default recovery?
With the new boot loader unlock it comes time to use a recovery other than safe strap. The easiest way to flash a custom recovery, in this case, clockwordmod recovery, is to simply download ROM Manager and use it to flash the Motorola Photon Q version of CWM Recovery.
Messed up things in rom manager on my new rooted Micromax A87! i flashed the recovery into something else by mistake and on that flashing list my phone is not listed to restore default recovery!it doesn't enter recovery mode at all..! wat to do?
need some help please. just did something pretty dumb in a moment of not thinking. i went into rom manager and flashed cwm recovery (I'm using Hairy Bean 1.51 with TWRP) over the damn TWRP recovery, then did a system backup through rom manager.
i am new to this so if you can bare with me. I recently Unlocked and rooted my G2 and i also installed a custom recovery (ClockworkMod). I have been trying to install a custom but have been having problems with this. what happens is i use recovery to install rom from sdcard and it looks like it installs, i mean it says it is successful but when i reboot it gets stuck on HTC boot screen.
