I recently installed the CM10 Unofficial ROM on my tf201 and the SU keeps denying Titanium BU and any other (su)app I try to use...this CM10 ROM came with TWRP as the recovery and I want to revert to CWM and flash a different ROM because I've had nothing but problems with this one...
how can I flash CWM over TWRP?
I never liked using TWRP for some reason...all I ever have is problems with it...
ok, so i just rooted my One X (AT&T) running 2.20 using the unlock-bootloader method (only one out there, right? :D)
i want to flash the latest stable CM10 rom (named cm-10.0.0-evita.zip), but i hear all this stuff about flashing the kernel or the boot.img first before flashing the rom...? i've never rooted/flashed on HTC before, so forgive me if it seems noobish.
i have rooted and unlocked bootloader on my htc one x from at&t. i installed twrp. i downloaded and copied this rom to my phone and i am now trying to flash it. http://onexroot.com/one-xl-roms/cm10...t-one-xone-xl/
what was weird is that when its booting it says cyanogenmod 9 not ten.
it has been at least 10 minuets now and i need to know how to fix this. thankyou.
I have tab 2 10.1 been trying to rooted using Weltwon method without any luck, I read somewhere that I can flash CM10 that had root build in.... can I do that? read instruction to flash CM10 it say I need tab to be rooted... please confirm that I can flash CM10 while tab not rooted...
Okay, so after much frustration I finally got TWRP on my phone, and got it successfully rooted, yay! But now, I have the .zip files for both CM10 and Gapps on my SD card, and the .zip for CM10 refuses to flash. Below I'm going to post what TWRP says when I try.
I ran the all-in-one toolkit v2.0 to root my at&t htc one x but my phone is showing not rooted. I followed all the steps and successfully unlocked the bootloader then proceeded to flash the TWRP recovery. When I try to run apps that require root my phone says it's not rooted. I downloaded RootChecker app from the playstore and it says phone is not rooted.
