I know I have done this before with my old Evo but I can't remember.
I would like to remotely control my media computer via my Nexus. I have a pc in my living room that has all of my music on it as well as slacker, pandora etc.. I would like to be able to control the play from the Nexus. I would also like to be able to control Slacker.
Is there a way to see and control the Nexus 7 remotely from a computer?
I tried several tools like Logmein Rescue and GoToAssist but it works on Samsung, Sony and other similar devices except for Nexus 7.
Any recommendation on how to control and see the device remotely?
We’ve already seen the Android 4.2.1 update being pushed out to the Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10— but now the venerable Galaxy Nexus smartphone is starting to get some love too. Thanks some keen eyes, we now know the minor Android 4.2.1 update is now available for the takju variant of the Galaxy Nexus.
Well, just got my Nexus 4 upgraded to KitKat and frankly the bright white backgrounds hurt the hell out of my eyes (I have bad eyes) especailly on the formerly nice and dark holo-themed Dialer app. Is there any way to get the lovely and easy to look at grey/black and blue holo theme back for the dialer? This new stark white nonsense that's been forced on me actually causes me physical pain.
Got my new Nexus 5 two days ago and have noticed when you are scrolling up or down or to either side on say a menu page (eg settings) and you come to the end of the page and try to pull further down there is sort of like a strange white effect on the screen.
playing around with my new Nexus 5 I recognized a problem to control the volume of my external bluetooth loudspeaker.
First, the speaker connected normally as it used to with my GNex (JB 4.3). But with the Nexus 5 the volume seems to stay at maximum only. Pushing the volume buttons +/- of the phone shows up the volume control and I can see the volume going up and down.
