Hi,
I have a rooted mytouch q slide from t-mobile. I was playing around with it and deleted some crap using one of the root uninstallers. Everything was fine but then i downloaded a new keyboard app and after playing with it...it froze. On reboot it force closes "com.android.phone" which leaves me with these barebones apps and I can't make phone calls.
I do this on impulse: deleting spam from an application that I've installed. Now I want it back, (no solid reason). I really believe it has been deleted for good and there's no cache system for this. Let me know if there is a process to find the orgin or the deleted file. I'll keep using my file manager to search my phone for something until I get a better option.
I'm a complete n00b. I'm just trying to figure out on how to send videos from pc to my phone for a while now. HTC sync manager allows only adding mp3 files to the library but not video files to send to the phone.. And copy-pasting directly on the storage card also isn't helping me. When I copy paste it to my storage card, i can't find that file on my phone again.
I recently acquired a Samsung Infuse.
Well, i made some poor decisions in the order of rooting and installing and uninstalling software, and i ended up with no launcher. No big deal, just use recovery and install it via update, right? Well, i didn't have clockwork mod or any other recovery installed before this happened and the samsung recovery won't recognize the update.zip file.
Stock ROM. JB 4.1.1. Rooted. Windows 8 Pro 64-bit.
Had the phone 3 weeks. For the most part the external Sandisk 32GB SD card has worked fine. I use MediaMonkey to sync my music.
I need help, i deleted by error a ram5 file that was in the same directory of stl* files, now when i start the phone the display of my Galaxy Mini is blinking with the samsung logo and the android rom doesn't boot.
I saw this feature in an update of TB. So I tried it. Yes, it works. I got a zip file.
Now the update to CM10 for my phone is out. I backed up the phone and noticed that TB had everything in the file folder as usual, and the zip.

My phone attempted an OTA update just now where it downloaded this file:
OTA_JEWEL_CL_ICS_40_S_Sprint_WWE_2.13.651.1-1.22.651.3_release_277047h447f5lscd1c5uho.zip
I searched around for the file on line and I got a lot of file hosting sites, some labeling it as a virus.
