http://forum.xda-developers.com – Hi, I'm experiencing serious problems if I install a Jelly Bean based rom on my Sensation 4g (TMOUS). Although the other party can hear me clearly, I can't hear them, but the sound is lagging, distorted or there is no sound at all. I only experience this on calls (both by cell network and by VOIP apps). If I'm using a headset the problems are gone. Media plays back fine too. All problems disappear if I install an ICS rom (currently Revolution). Does anybody else experience similar problems or know a fix? (HowTos)

Hello

I just purchased an S3 a few days ago, i love the phone. However, i am having alot of problems with streaming bluetooth audio in my car.

I have no problems with it connecting, auto-connecting, or pairing. Phone calls sound fine, there is no drop in quality.

I've been getting these sound problems. Everytime I play music through the music app or poweramp, the sound is too low that I have to turn it half way up to be able to hear it. But if I watch YouTube the sound is fine. Any ideas on what can cause this?

I was already running FC16 just fine and could play back sound just fine; I only had problems with microphone. So, I thought, I'd troubleshoot my Mic problems only after doing the latest software update...

Voxeet has new apps for the iPhone and the Android that provide stereo HD sound for conference calls without any audio bridge. I had a demo last week and I was definitely impressed. My Android HTC Sensation has awful sound quality. My wife can never hear what I say.

I've installed a tv card but I can't hear the sound through my built-in CMedia soundcard when I watch tv with TVTime. The tv card's audio output is externally connected to my soundcard's line in input. In the 'Input' tab of the 'Sound Preferences' dialog, I can see the input level meter moving.

I have problems with my sound card, an Asus Xonar XD on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. To hear something, i need to set Ubuntu's volume at 100% and speakers volume at 75%.

Ubuntu sound, alsamixer.

At this moment i can barely hear something with some quality. But then, at the moment when I increased volume, like a 10% more, it sounds distorted.

How can i fix this?

My sound is 'ok'... I can hear it and it's not "too quiet" but it definitely doesn't get that loud... I was ok with it until I went to install compiz fusion and went to adjust my drivers with

After a clean install of 12.10 I am again experiencing problems with the sound. Even after trying the module.options that worked in 10.10 I still have only sound on the headphones. I have been able to trace the problem to pulseaudio by trying pavucontrol. When I mute and unmute sound (PULSE sound-indicator) I hear the sound briefly only when I unmute.

I want sound and internet access thru Linux using VMware. It will give me confidence to add it as a dual boot to my hard drive. I have sound and internet access thru Windows 7. I have sound thru the sound card test but I'm not able to play / hear cd's.

I'm having problems with the network configuration, I get the message, "cannot activate the device etho:1 no link found".
