Recently my friend bought a HD2 for fun and he recommend me to buy one so I buy a new T-mobile HD2. It's still shipping but I wish I could start reading the root/flash processes. My phone is in stock WM and radio, I would like to keep the radio band 1700/2100 for 3G. I have a few question about root/flash: These question may be existed in the past but I am too lazy to look for them one by one, so I hope you guys can help me with your kindness:D 1)What is the mode (HowTos)

Hi guys, This morning i flash a CF root kernel, to gain root access then flash another kernel to overclock. But when I flash an overclock kernel the phone just gets stuck on the start screen and I have to re flash CF root again.

I bought my Galaxy NOTE N7000 last day and i flash it. I'm currently using KingDROID v7.4. the weird is this i lost my root but i had CWM recovery. during installation of KingDROID the default kernel is CF-ROOT and MODEM is LRK. Did i do something wrong?

Can anyone help me?

And also can i flash my GALAXY NOTE with any MODEM version? is this safe?

Hello everybody!

I'm new to XDA and new to rooting. I read the forum about rooting the korean version of lgog but to no avail, I can't seem to root mine with 10k fw. Do I need to downgrade it to 10i to root it? I got the 10k fw out of the box (didn't upgrade it).

Follow Up question:

I just want to flash the stock ROM JB available, do I really need to root first before I flash?

Just bought our 2 nexus 7 tablets today....We want to root them but haven't yet. I was trying to update the FLASH to the latest as one of my websites and one game wanted me to do that. I was taken to the google paly and there was a message that the lastest FLASH can NOT be installed on this device and I read that it is NOT support for OS over Ice Cream 4.0? Can some one tell me what I can do?

I'm currently running Stock w Goodies 1.75, I'm S-ON & H-boot 1.12.

I'd like to flash my radio since it's all still on the original but from what I've read I can only flash my radio using recovery and need to be S-OFF to flash everything and do it from the bootloader.

There was a time I was good at this. All I can do now is just trip my flash counter or brick my devices.

Download the file.

Unzip

Set the device in download mode (yes, my drivers work)

Run odin

Point the PDA to the tar file.

Flash. The thing reboots, odin says pass!

Try to boot into recovery and only get the stock recovery.

I have done this several times now. And same thing.
