I have used windroid htc one x+ toolkit to unlock bootloader.
It shows a dialogue saying bootloader is unlocked . But in the phone it still shows a locked screen and also showing as s-off
I have root and i am able to use titanium backup.
I have also tried to flash twrp recovery..
I have a Droid DNA that hasn't been unlocked or rooted and has no modification on it. I want to unlock the bootloader and root it so i can flash Cyanogenmod onto it, but using previous methods of doing this it either won't work, or says I need to send my phone away to get it Jtagged. I have the AT&T Galaxy S3 on 4.1.2 and want to root for the first time. I've looked around and have seen that chainfire would be a good way for a beginner like me to use. I was going to do it, but then I read something that said the Bootloader had to be unlocked. I don't know what a bootloader is and if mine is unlocked.

I did enough Google search to find how to check if the bootloader is unlocked or for that matter the bootloader lock status. I have found various threads which point me to different devices like HTC, Xperia, etc.
