I just brought home the Razr Maxx a few hours ago. It was an upgrade from the Droid X2 and was purchased for its (supposed) better battery life.
Other than phone calls, texting, and the occasional surfing, the primary use for the phone is to stream radio shows, and download older shows & bits.
Looks as though Verizon is getting to the final testing stages of what will eventually be the official ICS build for the Droid Razr and Razr Maxx. A new test build (6.14.84) has been pushed out to testers and has been packaged for download for those willing to give it a run. Some of the new changes include faster speeds, a new kernel, and a new CDMA radio.
Whats up guys I am about 2 weeks out from upgrading my phone, I am pretty much dead set on the Razr HD, but I can't decide if its worth the extra $100 for the maxx. So I'm trying to find an HD user to tell me what the battery life is like on their phone.
How much do you use your HD?
What do you use it for?
How often do you have to charge it?
so i recently bought a used htc eris off of ebay (for verison) and i rooted it just to improve little things in the phone. (fix bluetooth, emulators, ect.) After this was going fine until one day i decided to download an app called "eris market fix" in hopes that it would allow some more freedom in the market.
So, I was in the process of putting a custom ROM on my rooted Droid Razr when the download for the custom ROM didn't download correctly and I was already in the process of putting everything on the phone, so I left the the phone plugged up and let the download finish.
HI,
Thanks in advance for helping. I am planning to buy a used Motorola Droid Razr XT 912 (verizon) phone for my brother. We are on GSM network. I am not clear if I upgrade to ICS GSM will be unlocked and works full like a GSM phone or not.
Hi all. Can the motherboard from an XT910 be put in an XT912 and all other parts connect and function correctly? Basically, I've exhausted all of my Google searching skills trying to find a way to make my XT912 operate on a GSM carrier in the U.S. and I've come to the conclusion that I should get XT910 motherboards and put them in my XT912's.
I tried to use Motofail2go to root my Verizon Razr M, and only later discovered that in order to root a Razr M, it has to be a developer edition to root. This seems to be the case no matter what. Am I wrong?
If only that was made clear within every page that discusses how to root a Razr M.
If you’ve been a ‘loyal’ Verizon customer for a while now and you are ready for an upgrade, you may want to pay attention and check you inbox regularly. According to some loyal customers, they have received an email containing details on how to get a free phone.
