[Q] Any way to disable/bypass exchange security in Mail app?

http://forum.xda-developers.com – Hey guys, I'm making the move over from an HTC One X. My Note II will be here on Tuesday, and I cannot wait! Trying to read through the rooting process and pick a Rom and all that Jazz while i'm waiting for it to arrive. I think i've got most everything figured out and will be ready to try and root when it gets here. One thing that i've used on every phone since back in the HTC Inspire days, is a mod that will remove or bypass the exchange security in the stock email app. I've always been able to find a patch that will work on whatever Rom i may be using at the time. Does anyone (HowTos)

Hi,

I have seen numerous threads on other phones for people wanting to bypass the exchange required password lock screen

I would also like to avoid having to put my password in all the time

The phone is rooted on CM9.

I was running the changed (No security setting enforcement) email/exchange apps on my Galaxy S2 connecting to a Lotus Notes Traveler without any problems.

After upgrading to the Note 2, I dicovered, that I cannot setup my traveler account anymore.

Emergency Call Only Mode 20 weeks 5 days ago

I just had a new Samsung Galaxy S3 on the Credomobile (Sprint) network shipped to me as a replacement for my existing phone. When setting up an Exchange account the Galaxy S3 goes into the Emergency Calls Only mode - every time. Credo sent out a new phone, but it does the same thing. I have reverted back to my Sanyo Vio phone and can access Exchange just fine.
