I'm switching from sprint to verizon and was thinking of getting a motorola but I've always had HTC and flash roms quite often so was just wondering if anything is in the works
I want to know if I can flash a kernel but stay stock no custom ROMS? and when I flash a kernel or a Rom (when I decide to try Roms) will that lose all my info again like when I unlocked DNA? thinking about using flash image gui thanks in advance

Hello. I recently got brave enough to root my Verizon S3. I used Casual and it worked fantastic. Now, I'm looking to run a custom ROM. I tried a ton of different ROMs on my old Captivate, my wife's old Infuse, my Galaxy Pad 10.1, and Asus Transformer Infinity. So one thing I know is that I don't like AOSP. I want to stay with Touchwiz.
SIlly little question... So I've just figured out how to root and flash and have tried a couple of roms. During all this trying stuff out, I had wiped memory, roms, caches, and I've flashed recoveries and whatnot. Seems pretty cool, some stuff on some roms work, others don't.
I am anxious to try to improve the performance of my TF700 by installing a custom ROM. It just occurred to me that I should ask if using my keyboard dock will have any problems with custom ROMs. Can someone recommend Jelly Bean (4.1.x or 4.2) ROMs that won't prevent use of the dock? Also, if I start using custom ROMs, how hard is it to revert back to the stock Asus ROM?
When i flash custom roms(I have tried slimkat & cm11), my capacitive keys (menu and back) working very strange.
If I don't touch anything for some time (less than 30 seconds) they stop working until I touch screen or hold them for 5-10 seconds.

This is a combination of work from scrosler and myself. I saw where Scott did this for the VZN GN2 and I modified it to work with the Sprint (SPH-L900) GN2 phones. With this modification your are able to flash AT&T (N7105) and Verizon (SCH-I605) Roms to your phone.
so i installed giantpunes (i think thats his name lol) kernel and ever since my wifi had an error so i reinstalled cwm and i flashed the stock kernel but neither fixed it, also i flashed a stock kernel for the VM elite but i have the sprint elite (wich i dint realize when i flashed it) so im hoping theres something i can do to fix that.
I have the Verizon g2 but I use tmobile with it I have managed to root and install twrp no problems the only thing I need to know is when it comes to flashing roms can I flash whatever or do I have to flash tmobile roms??? I seen somewhere someone said they flashed all Verizon things except for the Rom itself ..
