If anyone is looking to get wifi tethering set up, I've found an app that works on the Venice, and it just happens to be free :)

Guys, need some help. I am on AOPK JB ROM and Wifi Tether is supposed to work, et I am having troubles getting it to work on mine. I have used both the built in hot spot as well as Wifi Tether for Root. On the built in hot spot, it will work till the point of showing up on my tablet or other phones.
Hi, I've rooted my Spectrum with ICS, but I cannot use WIFI tethering. It gives me an error "Setting ad-hoc mode.... failed" I have tried to use the "WiFi Ad Hoc enabler for Android", but this yielded no results. I would also like to note the "

Using halo launcher you can make a widget to shortcut to USB tether and hotspot options but idont have it with the sense so my question is how can I do this with an unrooted phone I will need it to give WiFi to a linux os and the android minipc/tv box if anyone can help
Im on the 55 plan, im guessing metro blocked me(my girls phone, I have the esteem) the built in tether app no longer works, "wifi tether" isn't either an not even barnacle..... Any ideas?
I successfully rooted my phone with no problems, running CWM 5.x+ Wifi tether comes on, it activates, says it's running, when I try to connect with my tablet or laptop, it get's stuck on "Obtaining IP address" and will go no further.
What are the settings so I can connect to it?

I'm running Harmonia 'light' that did not come with Wifi Tether pre-installed. I need to tether for a few hours on Friday. I work from home and we are getting Comcast installed in a two-hour window. Without connectivity I will have to take the time off, which I don't want to do.:D
I installed Wifi Tether but on connecting to my laptop I have 'limited connectivity'.
Hey guys been searching all over and just trying to tether my new Nexus to my annoying "infrastructure" only wifi Galaxy Tablet 2.
Maybe there are specific Roms that can do this...
