It seems that the python3 interpreter is used. Somewhere in the code you'll have to replace calls to "python" with calls to "python2".Edit: You should use the AUR package.

The appfinder is not bad, but I prefer kupfer (in the AUR), since it remembers the most important applications and I only have to type 3 letters maximum to launch them, firefox is only one 'f' away.Edit: If you miss something you can even write your own plugins in python.

Run "udevadm monitor" in a shell, then connect your printer. This will show you the paths udev will add to your /sys tree.

Somewhere you defined LC_ALL. You'll have to find and remove that definition.

Which are you testing? Monsterwm, monsterwm-xcb or both? What happens when you try to start it/them up? The console messages you are getting are info about the desktops and the number of windows open on each one, etc.

It could be the mailman at archlinux.org, arch-general, the bbs like in this case, users choice. What's the Keep-It-Secure-and-Stable (KISS ;-) direction?Since arch uses vanilla packages, just read lists from http://seclists.org, e.g. bugtraq, I think

I think you should try it with early KMS, if it does not help, test it with systemd-udev-settle.service as a dependecy for gdm.
