i was thinking of using quickly but i dont like glade i want to use pyside
i want to start my starch what should i do delete all the files and create a pyside python file will quickly still work with it and it will be considered for ubuntu app showdown
let me tell you that pyside is the official python bindings to qt and it is under the LGPL license and it is available in default ubuntu repository
Just a short Tutorial today. It’s surprising how many people do not know this. To change the hostname under Linux, open a terminal window. Type the following code.
sudo nano /etc/hosts
and change the text to your new hostname. Changes will take effect on Restart.
For people who interested, last night I just update my PKGBUILD to compile and install PySide 1.1.2 (codenamed "Alaursa") on ArchLinux's Python 2 and Python 3. Strangely the PySide guys have 1.1.2 announced on the mailing list since August but as of today the website still says 1.1.1 as latest release.
