http://crunchbang.org – Installing from Windows using NFS is really a pain.if you read herehttp://www.vercot.com/~serva/an/NonWindowsPXE3.htmland see how Serva does for booting i.e Debian Live you can see there's an "additional" initrd.gz loaded.That file contains the missing cifs support files extracted from the squashfs file, then when the kernel boots up is able to retrieve the live file (squashfs) "also" from a regular Microsoft share. Serva website currently does not provide that additional initrd.gz for Crunchbang, then you can create one or ask Crunchbang guys creating one for you. Pro (HowTos)
