http://www.tuxopia.net – The Crazy Developers at Pidgin have released the Version 2.6.1 of libpurple and Pidgin. Of all the Bug fixes, new features and changes that they have added to Pidgin; the most important are the Support for Voice and Video on Gtalk. However this feature is not available on Windows yet. The Voice and Video support was made possible by Mike Ruprecht and his Summer of Code project from 2008. Currently Pidgin supports these features only on XMPP, but Mike is working on other protocols and support may be added soon. Bookmark/Search this post with: read more (General)
