Have the Rogers HTC One X....its rooted and bootloader unlocked using the HTCDev method. The only problem i have is with the Proximity Sensor!!
During calls, unless i COMPLETELY cover the sensor, as in the phone is pressed against my face/ear...the phone will stay on!!
So now its seems like it only has two settings: Screen ON when nothing is there.
I have a P925. Unlocked it though IMEI, my proximity sensor was acting up, since the screen went off during calls and no button would bring it back. I checked the rest of the components on the same flex cable (camera, earspeaker, noise mic) and all work fine except for the proximity sensor, so i thought it might be a software problem.
I rooted the phone and installed the clockworkMOD thing...
Hey guys, I've been having a weird issue for the past week now. On Mean Bean 3.09 every phone call I take or make ends up rebooting, usually within a minute of the call going through.
I noticed that my screen doesnt turn off when I answer phone calls. I though it was a problem with the ROM I was running until I flashed a new one and found out it was there too. So I flashed to stock and unrooted via ODIN. The issue still exists.
Hello my friends, I'm looking for about how to solve the problem between the proximity sensor and the call rec. I suppose everyone knows what i'm talking about, i've done the phone apk with call rec and no incremental tone. And if the proximity sensor is activated and you try to record a call it stops.....:silly:
Any idea or trick to solve the problem? Thanks :good:
hi all,
Is there any way of changing (or an application) that would allow me to set the proximity sensor to work faster ?
Whenever I make a call and need to dial some extension number (i.e. when calling to a hostpital) the screen is already off and I need to wait 3-4 sec for the screen to light up.
All credits go to ginodp and the users he mentions for finding the solution for a similar problem on the Desire S. Here is the link to the original thread.
The problem: An awful lot of HTC Desire phones have a malfunctioning proximity sensor which constantly reads 0.00 cm i.e. complete obstruction.
I hope this is okay to post here...
I was considering trying to put my HTC Sensation 4G up FS/FT in the Market but its got a busted proximity sensor and light sensor. Not sure when/how it happened. Other than that the phone is in excellent condition with an Anker battery and TPU case.
I've been looking around for the last days and none of the answers to the questions made have helped me and I'm bumping my head with something that perhaps is simple to solve .... I want to work with the proximity sensor and what I'm doing is that if I put the finger on the sensor it turns off the screen and if I remove the finger away it turns back on the screen!
