As title says: since i rooted my desire hd and flashed a custom rom, the proximity sensor ( G-sensor) and compass aren't working anymore. Tried to calibrate, reset, hard reset, flashed other roms, nothing helped. While calibrating, nothing moved, not the levelers and not the needle of the compass.
What relation do they have together? Is it one part?

I've been using Fallout rom for a while now but I decided to try a Sense 3.5 rom since they run more stable and faster than most ICS roms.
First I tried Endymion and later Energy rom. However with both roms I get a lot of crashes and I can't figure out why. Sense 3.6 roms run fine.
The crashes with Sense 3.5 also happen whilst the nothing is installed.

I have just installed NOS M7 beta rom to my butterfly. I have a few issues but couldn't write it to its thread because of it is closed.
When i open andro sensor apk, it only shows sound sensor. it seems no sensor of sense 5 for my device. So i can't use my device on landscape mode. How can i fix this? Please help me as soon as possible...
So I switched from MeanROM to AOKP JB and so far I'm having mixed feelings. I changed because battery life on MeanROM was not making me happy. Its smoother than Sense and feels overall snappier but my only two complains are the proximity sensor on calls and also the camera image.
I know this phone has imagesense, but this is only enabled on Sense right?
i rooted my HOX when i was on ICS and sense 4.1 and since then have tried Maximus & Insertcoin roms with JB and sense+, but i dont have the option to activate Arabic / Persian keyboard for texting (it's not in the list of languages). is there a specific build that i should look for?
Now i know there's an old sense rom on here, but its very outdated. Ive decided im going to make my own and have a newer one on here so people dont have to dig around for a sense rom(not talking bad about the rom). So far i have an htc boot ani, an exact sense status bar, fonts, etc etc. I have been working on the launcher.
I noticed that my screen doesnt turn off when I answer phone calls. I though it was a problem with the ROM I was running until I flashed a new one and found out it was there too. So I flashed to stock and unrooted via ODIN. The issue still exists.
I have a P925. Unlocked it though IMEI, my proximity sensor was acting up, since the screen went off during calls and no button would bring it back. I checked the rest of the components on the same flex cable (camera, earspeaker, noise mic) and all work fine except for the proximity sensor, so i thought it might be a software problem.
I rooted the phone and installed the clockworkMOD thing...
Hey guys, I've been having a weird issue for the past week now. On Mean Bean 3.09 every phone call I take or make ends up rebooting, usually within a minute of the call going through.
