Few people actually know that they can restore files and folders that were accidentally deleted in Windows Vista or Windows 7 by default.
I was going through some old text messages one day and decided to delete the whole thread (1000 plus msgs). While in the middle of looking at the old messages, I deleted the thread without going back to the most recent message. Now every time I text this person and get a reply, my reply box is pre-populated with the last old/deleted text that I had last looked at/deleted.
Whenever Update mgr updates the kernel, on reboot I get the following error for the new kernel.
Bad or missing file.
Using grub, select the previous kernel. Boots fine, even though I would have gotten the same error after that kernel update. I always have to use grub to select the last kernel.
I have a file on my computer which was called just one.flv , I deleted this file but the problem here is that the icon of the file still appeared and when I try to do any operation on it from terminal , this message appeared No Such file or directory.
Now I can't do any operation on it. I can't copy or rename or cut or delete.
I tried:
rm -f 'just one.flv'
to force delete.
Any help?
