o.k.!So, what is the verdict, guys? Is it worth it for us layphans to upgrade our o.s., or too mmuch and too involved to want? Personally, I don't have a computer, no one will let me download anything onto theirs (virusephobia).
So.. how about some pros and cons! cool
Just wondering what everyone is using as a daily driver :D so everyone please join in pros and cons of them too
I myself am running cm9
Pros- performance look and feel Google chrome and Walkman app :)
Cons- wifi icon screwey and that's about it that I truly can tell :)
I'm in the market for an upgrade from my Droid Incredible 2 and have been eyeballing the Razr M. I know no phone is perfect though so I'm curious what the pros and cons are of this device. I'd be buying it off contract so I want to get all my ducks in a row before I pull the trigger.
So this is something I've looked into a few times with different phones, but have so far not yet done. I like the idea of full customization, but I am still learning tech, so I still don't fully understand the pros and cons of rooting. The reason I am considering it again is because I would love to play with Google Now. Can I get some thoughts from the community? Pros cons?
I am building myself a Linux NAS/home server. I am considering either using sw RAID-1 (mdadm) to replicate data or alternatively just rsync them periodically. What are advantages/disadvantages of both approaches. I am adding my assumption as an answer, but I'd like to make this list of pros/cons more comprehensive.
