hi guys, i've a litle bit problem with projector in crunchbang.i want to use projector to presentation in the class, but crunchbang didn't detect the projector, is there specific ways to use projector in crunchbang ?
I have an ubuntu server 14.4 machine all set up to use with my projector as the only screen. When the projector is off, ubuntu doesn't detect any monitor plugged in. But a long as the projector is turned on while lightdm is starting, it detects the projector as the monitor and all works great. I'm okay with having to have the projector on when starting up.
I have been reading Posts on this subject and have not found any answers.

1) Mini USB

I need to do a presentation for some perspective clients. I need a projector for this. I don't want to spend a boat load since I may not use it really after this use. However nothing to say I can't throw it in the basement and use it to play movies/game in the future.
So I have been using my Tprime for about two weeks now and I love it! What I really want to do with it is run a powerpoint slide show from my tablet and have it project through my NEC-m300x projector wirelessly. My question then is, can I purchase some sort of DLNA USB dongle for the projector and "beam" my presentation straight to the projector?
When i first plug my video projector using the hdmi output of my crunchbang laptop, i had issues.The resolutions don't match ... laptop's resolution is 1366x768, projector is 1280x720Cloning with grandr works fine but the desktop on the projection is not complete.Some lines are missing at the bottom and the right of the screen projection.
