ok. so i had a rooted phone. no problems. then i upgraded sd card and the trouble happened. needless to say i ended up unrooting with gingerbreak(what i used to root). i verified this with root checker. all my root apps stayed on my phone tho along with superuser. i then tried to root again with gingerbreak and now it wont let me successfully root. any help is appreciated.
I have previously rooted my ZTE Score and had full functionality with superuser and busybox. everything was fine. then, I accidently wiped my phone and now I cant, for the life of me, get superuser to update the binary to "gain root access". i've tried to use Super Oneclick, Zerg and z4 to "reroot" my phone and all have claimed to have succeeded.
I feel like I successfully rooted my Tab2 10.1 GT-P5113 using odin. I have cmw recovery and flashed root file with no errors. After rebooting I have
the "#" Superuser app. It says SU binary needs to be updated and when I try it says installation failed! Apps that require root tell me that it cannot
access root. Used root checker and it also says I don't have root.
Hi, I have a xt912 Droid RAZR Maxx using 4.0.4 ICS and I used the root method that was provided here. I then went root app crazy and also installed the superuser.apk file with the Elite.
I have a rezound that I have been trying to root now for some time. I followed the guide on how to root. After doing so, my phone now says tampered and unlocked on the hboot screen. I use the root checker app to check for root access and it says I do not have proper root. I need some help on where to go next.
OK, I am not sure if my phone is rooted now or for sure 100%. What I can tell you is that I do have the following apps installed and did run Root Checker from the market. It did tell me I have root access.
Installed -
Root Explorer
BusyBox
Superuser
All of which are telling me that they are rooted.
Ok now with that being said here is my problem.
Hi y'all I have ATT Samsung Infuse 2.3.5 Edge. I had it rooted about 8 months ago to use with T-Mobile. All was fine for several months til I did the check for updates and there were and of course I did it. Yea I know better now. But the guy who actually rooted my phone was out of town so I took to someone he recommended. The phone works ie. calling, texting, going on the internet.
Was having problems with cm file manager and superuser so decided to use root checker and it said I don't have proper root access. Never had problems until about 2days ago. Any answers on the best way to fix this?

Hello All,
I followed the tutorial on how to root HTC One X with Hasoon2000's HTC One X All-In-One Toolkit.
I encountered a little problem installing CWM 5.8.2.7, so I manually installed 5.8.4 (which works great).
then I went on and did the root thing through the software.
It all seems good - I got the SU file under System/xbin, and got Superuser app on my phone.
