http://forums.androidcentral.com – So im on my 3rd phone and 4th sim card and at&t has no idea what the problem is. It started a couple weeks ago.....my phone takes about 20 secs to connect and sometimes it doesn't even connect, it just drops the call. And when someone calls me they can't get through, it rings three times on their end then goes straight to a busy signal. I really like the phone but if it doesn't make calls or receive them is useless to me. I've never had this happen on any phone, and it doesn't happen on any of my other lines. I'm so upset that i might need a different phone. Any ideas? Sent from my SAMS (HowTos)

Can't make phone calls 35 weeks 2 days ago

Hi, My problem is that i can't make phone calls or answer them. If i try call someone i just get an error message. If someone try to call me, the other phone can connect to my phone but my phone doesn't ring.

My phone won't allow any outgoing or incoming calls calls. I have full coverage and when I dial it straight away goes "Call Ended" Then when someone tries to call me they get a call rejected.

It can send and receive texts fine.

I recently rooted the phone to unlock it, then unrooted. The problems began then.

Using MIUI 1.11.25 and love this ROM although I'm now having a strange problem. Had to go back to Stock ROM temporarily to activate my phone when I switched phone numbers.

After that I restored Nandroid backup of MIUI 1.11.25 I had been using that was working fine a few days ago (could make and receive calls with no problems).

I have had intermittent problems with receiving texts and calls since day one of getting my first Android device from AT&T over a year ago. About every few weeks or so, text messages I receive will be delayed by 4+ hours from when the sender sent them until suddenly my phone alerts me to a ton of messages all at the same time.

So overall I've been very happy with my launch day Gnex. No real issues to speak of. Verizon 4G has been good to me.

But this afternoon, I made a call (checking voicemail), no problem. This evening, I went to make another call and I can't. It states dialing, but never connects. After maybe 30 sec, it states call ended. I tried calling my number, but it doesn't ring either.

I just got my Galaxy S3 a week ago. I rooted it and flashed between a few roms before deciding on codename android. The phone is activated on AT&T straight talk, and works sometimes. Other times, it will show 5 bars signal, not connect phone calls or receive text.

Proximity sensor broken? 24 weeks 4 days ago

Love this awesome phone but as of late the proximity sensor on this note has either broke or is buggy. First started to notice that the red light of the proximity sensor would not turn off. After a while as I make phone calls my screen will turn off but as I put my phone away from my face it doesn't turn back on.

Hi everyone I wonder if anyone can help me, recently my phone calls cannot be heard when im calling someone or someone is calling me, my phone rings as normal then I answer it and there is silence on my phone and on the other persons phone, any ideas what could be wrong?
