http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hi, I bought a new external 1.5TB HD and formatted it with ext4 (using gparted) if that matters. Now, if I plug it in, as a user, it is not mounted automatically on the desktop and only root can access it. I tried changing permissions with chmod, but to no avail. I would be grateful, if someone could give me some hints to make it work.
