I'm compiling a program to assembly code, specifically in 32 bit form, and when I compile without the -m32 flag like so...:
gcc -S examples.c
It compiles fine.
do you get this when you try to run the supplied example programs ?when i installed it, the whole package installed to /opt and owner was root only.i found i could not compile the examples. i copied the whole cuda to my home, then changed ownership.
Hi, I'm a Suse newbie and Windows-User.
I recently installed Suse 11.1 from the Live CD on an older PC. Suddenly, when booting up yesterday, the system announced corrupted IPtables and didn't load KDE. After login, I tried commands like KDE, run KDE but the bash didn't understand the commands.
It was painful to install the fglrx driver on opensuse 11.1 and i still dont know if i installed it right. I still have issues.
I dont recomend to any linux user to buy an ati based laptop.
This was my problem and how i fixed it. So it may be helpfull for someone.
I have a laptop Asus N51TP which comes with ATI Mobility Radeon HD4650.

Hello,
last year I've been gifted with a Pinnacle PCTV 330e USB decoder for DVB-T.
It works (obviously) fine under Windows, but on my laptop I use openSUSE 11.2 for 99% of time.
It's been a year I'm trying to make it work, but now that Naples switched off analog TV I decided to try again after upgrade to openSUSE 11.2.
hi,
i tried installing several programs from the repositories through Yast, the installation continues as usual, then at the end Yast disappears and the program is not showing anywhere. i checked again in Yast and it shows the program is installed, removed it and installed it again still the same. i was trying to install vlan, please help
Hi all, well the first thing I'd like to say is, I really like this new version. Mainly because I've got an ATI graphics card and I didn't have to load in 'safemode' this time before installing the ATI drivers. So thank you!
I know this has been asked before but have forgotten the answer. Does Yast save the files it downloads when updating and when you install programs or delete them as soon as it's done. There used to be a check box to allow you to choose but it has been gone for some time now. It seems a logical option to me.
