When using my HTC one x lots of times each day my WiFi disconnects by not loading any data but the WiFi logo is still their then after I turn the WiFi off then back on it works for 1-2 hours then it disconnects. This could happen when using the phone, my ps3 does also sometimes disconnect while playing a game but it then re-connects itself without having to turn the ps3 WiFi off.
I am flabbergasted at my new note 2. I got it a few weeks ago, I set it up how I wanted it and everything was fine. The wifi at home works flawlessly. When I try to connect at work, it will connect for about 30 seconds and then the wifi turns itself off. I'm now on vacation and the wifi here acts exactly like it does at work, connects for about 30 seconds and then turns off.
As I write this, I'm in a coffee shop on my laptop, and I am trying to connect to the free wifi network they offer.
Every time I select their network from the wifi applet drop down menu, it connects for a second and then disconnects.
At the same time, I have my Android phone with me, and it connects to the coffee shop's network without problem.

So I'm currently running Xenon 1.5 (4.2.1) paired with Lean Kernel 5.6, but this is an issues I've had on all 4.2.1 ROMs that I've tried. It seems as though my phone doesn't want to stay connected to WiFi even though it has a strong connection.

There is wifi near my house which I use. It's an open wifi net but it requires login and password once I connects to it by redirecting to login page. Everything is ok because I have them because I pay for it.
The funny thing is that in Ubuntu it doesn't work good unlike in Windows.
After Trying for 10+ minutes I finally got it to connect to my Wifi and then like 5 seconds it disconnects then it has to reconnect etc.
Any temp. fixes or anything?

Hello friends is there any way to increase the WiFi connectivity?? I'm currently using Real ICS lite r4 and kernal panic.
My friend uses the laptop's WiFi greatly all the time but my st15i can't even connect to the WiFi.. I thought laptops have high connectivity than mobile but his Samsung galaxy ace also connects to WiFi and he can browse with ease(though he can't download).
My HTC DHD (Android 2.2.5) connects to my home wifi network when i am home. It disconnects when i go out and then re-connects AUTOMATICALLY when i come back. But it would not reconnects AUTOMATICALLY to my home network again after i go out and connect it to a public AP such as at Starbucks or McDonalds. I have to reconnect it manually.
