Hi all,i have centos 6.2 and i have a problem with skype installation:# rpm -i skype-184.108.40.206-2.x86_64.rpmerrore: Dipendenze fallite: libQtCore.so.4 necessario... [by ajeje1982]
I realize this is proprietary software, but the problem isn't with Skype but KDE.
I recently installed the latest beta of skype downloaded from their website. Upon installation, I realized it didn't like my V4L2 video camera and so I wrote a shell script called 'skype' and put it in /usr/local/bin/
since the release and installation of the skype latest version(220.127.116.11-1) and maybe the ppa for vlc im facing some problems.
every time i boot up i can see skype running in the processes, even though i didn't set it up that way(also doesn't show up in startup applications).
So I'm trying to install Skype on my office computer which has CentOS6.4 and where I have no root access. http://www.skype.com/en/download-skype/skype-for-computer/ only offers binaries for Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora and OpenSUSE.
