I have an odd printing problem. I just installed Ubuntu 9.10 64-bit, and installed the default driver for my Canon iP4200 printer. I've used this printer without any trouble for years...and when I print a test page from the Printer Configuration in ubuntu it works fine.
Hello.
My printer has suddenly stopped working correctly, printing starts but paper stops half way through, although a message continues to say Printing from PC. This is the printer setting usb://Canon/MP610%20series?serial=491CED&interface=1. I tried printing a test page but this did not work.
I have wubi dual boot with Windows 7.
I'm new to SuSe and Linux and I can not seem for the life of me to figure out how to printer to my XP printer.
SuSe 11.2 KDE 32 Bit is wireless in kitchen
XP Pro SP3 is wired in familyroom
Is there a how to or can someone walk me through this. Like I said, I'm new to Linux.
I have installed Ubuntu 12.04 and used Printing application to set it up with my printer.
However when I tried to print a file, the printer will, for some strange reason, cram the page's whole content into the top half of the paper in the print-out.
I've just managed to successfully set up my printer (Canon MX320) using the Printing app on Ubuntu 12.04.
Hello,
I recently got a new laptop and installed Fedora 17 on it (Fedora 18 was too problematic). I am currently having an issue with printing using a network printer.
When I try printing a test page, it all works normally. However, if I try printing a document, it takes way too long to print. For instance, I started a printing job and waited.
I would like some guidance on printing from Ubuntu 12.10 on a Windows 7 printer.
I have a VAIO laptop with a dual boot setup of Ubuntu/Windows 7. My original printer (Canon PIXMA MP760) was no problem but that unit decided to give up on me today and I now have an EPSON XP-300.
This unit works fine with Win 7 but there does not seem to be a driver available for Linux.
I'm setting up print server for custom thermal printer on Raspberry Pi running Linux Debian and I have strange problem. If I print test page it prints ok, same with web page from firefox, but when I try print from google chrome or google cloud printing (I set up cloud printing server), half of page is cut, like there's wrong width defined.
I'm using a Canon PIXMA MP250, and I'm running 12.04 LTS. The printer's been working fine for the couple of months I've been a Linux user. That is, until today.
I just printed a 1-page ODT document from LibreOffice.
