I have a 15" MacBookPro 4,1 from 2008, and using only the built-in OS switcher (accessed with holding down Alt/Option on bootup) have been able to triple-boot to OSX 10.8 (with FileVault enabled), Fedora 14, and Fedora 17. I used gdisk to create a hybrid MBR/GPT partition table so the Mac boot loader could see the Fedora partitions.
Hi my name is Edgardo, and I new in the Fedora World and Forum.

I was running Fedora 13 on my old computer with a nvidia Geforce FX 5200 graphics card using the nvidia-173xx driver from fusion. After upgrading to Fedora 14 (the first day of its release) the X server wasn't working anymore, the screen just froze up after the progress bar.
I'm using Fedora 18 64 bit.
I installed the NVIDIA driver (NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-304.64) .
NVIDIA Corporation GF106 [GeForce GTS 450]
The installation finished without problems but now my system is slower than before (when I used the nuoveau driver).
It seems me like if it has little freeze specially in firefox (scroll up and down).
Does anyone has some idea about it?
Today I did an update of my Fedora 16 system equipped with a GeForce 6150LE card. The system was functioning fine, but now I get a message screen saying "Oh no! Something has gone wrong", which I guess is from Gnome.
I rebooted, followed Leigh's instructions in case something was incorrectly installed, reverted to the default driver (which sorta worked), and then reinstalled again.
